More Credits.
After escorting a ship to its destination follow it and it will destroy other enemies for you and you can pick up exra credits.
Unlimited Lives.
Go to the title screen and use controller C to HOLD Start then press A, B, A, B, UP.
Scanner Tip.
Make sure your scanner is on when you are leaving the orbit of a planet as you will be able to pick up anything that you have missed whilst in battle.
Debris In Space.
When you come accross any junk in space scan it there might just be something worth having inside.
New Ships.
After every 4 levels you wioll get a new ship, bear in mind though that this stops after level 44.
Shiva Ultratech.
After level 16 you can buy a "super" Ultratech, called Shiva, at the Allied Starbase for 50,000 credits. This item gives you infinite energy and more shots fired.
The Eldred.
The Eldred are possibly the best for single player because of their experience boost, critical hit, and their ability to warp without using energy.
The Vorgon.
The Vorgon are possibly the best for multi-player because their homing shots can steal the most kills and also help pick off the enemies that dodge.
Continue gameplay.
Press Start on controller two immediately after your last ship explodes. Then, have player two quit the game and player one will be able to continue.
General Tips.
At the start of the game make sure you contact the other allied ships before you head off into space. They will give you valuable information on how to defeat the Armada as well as giving you extra items.
Only the top 4 items in your inventory are the ones that are equipped. So be sure to make certain that you have the right items equipped.
If you stay with a ship after escorting it to it's destination and you have been paid for doing so, then the ship will destroy enemy ships for you that are near by. This si good because you can then fly around and pick up the credits left by the enemy ships.
Each Armada ship has it's own set of maneouveres so watch them and learn how to defeat each different type.
